Job Description
We are searching for an exceptional SEO & SEM Specialist who will be responsible for the development of the strategy for SEO and SEM campaigns, developing and testing new keywords and the overall deployment of the search engine components of the campaign.

Duties and Responsibilities
– Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
– Develop and implement link building strategy
– Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
– Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
– Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
– Work with key stakeholders and account personnel to develop SEM campaign strategies
– Research and establish keywords and develop ad copy
– Manage pay-per-click campaigns with spends to pace with target budgets
– Manage SEM campaign budgets and ensure SEM components (e.g. keywords) are acquired at most cost efficient level
– Ability to analyze campaign data to identify optimization opportunities and improve performance
– Plan, design, and build highly scaled paid search campaigns across multiple engines
– Monitor and manage multiple client campaigns as they relate to program goals and objectives
– Proactively expand and improve ad campaigns based on client business needs
– Provide ongoing analysis of paid search campaigns, visibility and traffic metrics
– Conduct keyword research and additions to new and existing campaigns
– Conduct ad copy adjustment and testing according to best practice
– Create and manage landing pages
– Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis on campaign status to senior management
– Support sales team on client calls with technical campaign information and strategy

Education, Skills And Experience
– Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing or a related discipline is strongly preferred
– 2-3 years professional work experience in the field of SEO and SEM
– Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
– Google Adwords and Google Analytics certified
– Experience with Bing AdCenter and social media paid advertising campaigns is an asset
– Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively to all stakeholders and customers necessary
– Strong analytical ability to determine success of optimization efforts
– Ability to manage multiple short and long term projects without close supervision
